The production of the podcasts feels like an extremely co-operative and inclusive enterprise, despite Alex's attempts to portray himself as His Criticality, GM for Life, Battlemap Marshal Al Ex Doctor Alex J Newell, PF, D20, ANPC, Lord of All the Beasts of the Bestiaries and Eels of the Quiche and Vanquisher in Tabletop Gaming of The Party in General and Brutor in Particular. That's MR His Criticality, GM for Life, Battlemap Marshal Al Ex Doctor Alex J Newell, PF, D20, ANPC, Lord of All the Beasts of the Bestiaries and Eels of the Quiche and Vanquisher in Tabletop Gaming of The Party in General and Brutor in Particular, to you.

Just one thing - I definitely noticed Lydia's absence. I know it can't be helped, but there's a definite void without her there. Yeah, definitely. One of the great things about the podcast is how well the 5 works. I was surprised by the difference with only 4 of us. This was not part of the brief, I hasten to add. I suggested limericks, he decided to take it much, much further. I was mostly joking about limericks. And much eye-rolling ensued. Limericks have their place but this was not that place. Though I did write & perform a pseudo-sombre eulogy limerick sequence for a friend's spoken word event some years ago. But, yeah, the brief was fairly straightforward but anyone who knows me knows I can't resist probably over-complicating things I certainly know, I've played in enough of your damn campaigns. <3

I feel like it's an exciting 'lads holiday' of sorts. If by holiday you mean quest and by lads you mean... Well... Bertie...

Alas, I was never called upon to film 'Happenstance' so I don't think there is any recording of it :-(
