Well, more of a call for digits. And a bit of time. It's really more of a polite request... The 2016 Podcast Awards open for voting on Sunday (29th May) on their website and runs for 15 days. During that time you can vote for each of our podcasts once per day - The Rusty Quill Gaming Podcast in 'Games & Hobbies' and/or The Magnus Archives in 'Arts'. Naturally, we'd appreciate a vote for each but we also recognise that we're up against some great competition on both slates, so any support you'd care to give is significantly appreciated. A win would be particularly amazing for us, as a small production company in its first year, and could make a massive difference to being able to produce even more great content on our network. Plus it would be an affirmation that we have the best fans! (which we know we do) As a note: Daily voting is in place to allow smaller podcasts with an engaged fanbase to compete alongside bigger/more established names. More details are available on the awards website.

I sincerely and earnestly promise not to shame any Rusties and/or Magnuts who don't vote every day, even though you totally should.

Cards on the table, games and hobbies is a tough category as we are up against "Dnd is for nerds" a very popular competitor. That said, they aren't unassailable. We have a really solid chance in arts though.

This is why we need those several thousand downloaders to show up right about now.

I have a good feeling that we can do this with such an awesome fanbase , but we really everyone to head over to www.PodcastAwards.com and vote for us on as many days as you can. Every little helps and it'll mean a huge amount to the cast and crew here at Rusty Towers. See you in the voting rooms!

Both votes cast. It was dead easy. I also threw a few other votes to other podcasts I like in the process.
I reminded RL to do the thing as well.
13 more votes to go!

When was that decreed? x On the 27th of May at 17:12, by me. At about 17:15 of the same day I was making puns about Magnuttic Personalities in my head and disgusting myself.

Another vote has been voted!
How strange to be rewarding Alex's Cryptocratic Tyranny with such a disturbing surfeit of Democracy, but I guess that's how things go.
I'm voting for The History Chicks in the education section. If any of you have ever felt that women in history are somewhat under represented and poorly depicted this podcast redresses that somewhat. Worth a listen and a vote if you haven't already a favoured rival to them.

Heads up. A lot of votes haven't been registered due to a technical fault. If you voted and didn't receive a confirmation email please let us know.

I don't appear to have actually received one for my vote yesterday, now that I look for it.

It appears that almost every vote we received on day one was lost due to a few gaffs at their end. Not happy.

I can get my hands on a pitchfork if we need an angry mob.
