Yes, well, after today's episode of TMA I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be entirely comfortable around those who are strictly only Magnuts. My faith in Hamid protects me. Those who don't follow RQG are as exposed as lambs.
Anyway, I democracied all over the PPA again even though it feels like Florida 2000 all over again.

And again, except this time I voted sarcastically at them.

Sarcastic voting has long been an ambition of mine, I always chicken out and take it seriously at the last minute. I have sometimes voted disgustedly.

I hope Alex doesn't mind but I think I may need to borrow some of his descriptors from the Big Ol' Bag O' Adjectives.
Today I voted louchely and furtively. I deeply got into character for it and still look dissolute as all hell.

Yesterday I voted in a secret ballot.
Today I voted in a covertly recorded ballot which has been filed in my permanent record.

I think I've just cast my last votes this morning.
Fingers crossed guys! I did all fourteen and got as many people as I could to do so too. I think the PPA will only count 13 of my votes but I really did try.

Been overwhelmed by people powering through the broken systems! You're all excellent people!

We love you, regardless of whether it's mandated or not!
In all seriousness, the podcasts have helped me through a particularly tough time the last few months, when so much of my own little world seems to be falling apart. It's nice to have a regularly scheduled thing to look forward to - Tuesday evenings are a highlight of the week, and something I share with friends. On Thursday mornings, I listen to MA while I'm having my first cup of coffee and again on the way home from work (and then again when I can share the experience).
You're all wonderful people doing difficult and expensive things whilst striving for some pretty damn noble ideals. It's inspirational and I think, as fans, it's the very least we can do.
I'm sorry that any time I've ever met any of you in person I've been ridiculously and conspicuously drunk, but it's probably just as well otherwise I'd be far too shy and tongue-tied to say anything at all...

I'd just like to add my thanks to everyone who has taken the time to vote and let us know and coped with the really awkward systems issues - you're all such fantastic folks! It really makes me happy to see how much of an engaged community we have here, on Twitter and on Facebook - people who'll put up with me bombarding them with exhortations and silliness. It's a real joy for a Community Manager to know they're not just shouting into the wind on most days.
It's difficult to know if we'll be fortunate enough to get an award - but we definitely count ourselves lucky to have all of you, so that makes us winners in my eyes!
*SUPERHUGS* to all of you - both digitally and you're welcome to ask for one in person if we meet :-)

I'm not sure I can say any words better than how Doktor Payne has put them.
Thank you all for making such great podcasts, and making a forum in which we can spill our geeky ramblings and feel like a really close community.
and if you don't win an award, then we will just have to make our own! with blackjack and hookers! (perhaps in our case with quiche and creepy worm infested witches)

You're too kind, missnash and samanthae. You could add your own words if you really wanted to. I hear that despite all appearances to the contrary Alex really does secretly enjoy sycophancy.

At what point did I ever refuse grovelling? Love me a good grovel. On toast.
