While we're waiting for the bodies to fall where they will, this is a reasonable juncture to say that we're coming up on the Season 1 finale. And just like for The Magnus Archives, we're going to have a close-of-season 'Ask the Party' Q&A session (a kinda post-mortem, if you will ) So, to that end, we'd like to request any questions you may have for our glorious leader and/or the merry band of players who form our intrepid heroes? As with the other thread, any spoiler-related questions cannot, unfortunately, be answered but we'll do our best with what inquiring minds want to know!

I have 2 questions if that's all good with you guys - Once you had the basic idea for the setting and type of campaign you wanted to run, how did you get started fleshing out the world? Like , did you map things out, go straight into writing an adventure? - If you can say, how far in advance are the encounters/story/plot/events planned and how much do you have planned for the future of the Erasing the Line campaign (I know you can't say any details though)

Alex, how much thought do you put in to what the environment of each scene looks like, and how much do you just make up on the spot? For example, when the gang were defeated by an overweight Parisian man, did you plan the whole layout of the building beforehand? And when they were in the tunnels, did you plan where each path went to before they even entered them?
What does editing an episode consist of? How do you decide which bits to take out and which to leave in?
How do you create varied NPCs?

If any of you have any more questions, now is the time! We record our QA episode this weekend so there's still a couple of days to sneak em in like ball bearing covered in... Um.. Sneaky... Um... Dammit.

Other than the things that you said in episode 0 or 1 (I can't remember which), what are your influences for creating this campaign?

These might be FOIP questions:
How old are the four main characters? Why do they speak gutter French when trading in Other London (underground)? I.E what is the history of that?

- What was a time that the players completely surprised you, approaching or resolving an encounter in a way that you didn't expect?
- How many "bones" have you thrown the players? Was there a time that you fudged the numbers to keep the campaign going, for the sake of the podcast? Have you ever fudged the numbers to help the players in previous campaigns?
- What did you draw inspiration from for the setting?
- If you could have an evening with any of the NPCs that have appeared in the campaign thus far, who would it be and what would you do?

This sounds more like a #Magnus question I misunderstood this was for RQG... you'd think working here would make me more on top of such things. Alex with NPC's how far do you normally go with creating characters for the group to interact with? Are you thinking of voicing an NPC campaign with just yourself? ("doomed" train driver, Commander Barnes, the Jailer and Grag maybe with the dog that wasn't Brutor)

Is there a part of you that wishes that Brutor hadn't come back? When it seemed like Brutor had died I think you were quite worried about loosing people over it and (although I'm not suggesting that you may have nudged the dice in a favorable direction) were you releaved that he could run off into a new life?
Also, was there any slight animosity to this NPC getting all this attention when your actual characters were in mortal peril of dying at the same time? BTW I think that James' decision for Bertie to ask Mr Ceiling to bring Brutor was spot on for his Character.
Are your characters being recieved the way that you wanted or imagined they might be?.. I think that James has said that he wanted Bertie to be thouroughly unlikeable but the more 'Bertie' he is the more we seem to fall in love with him (a touch of the Alf Garnet effect there I think). How have you evolved their personalities from thier creation till now?

How difficult is it to play this campaign for a poscast? - How much/what type of stuff doesn't make the Edit each week? Is there any compromise made by doing it in this format?
If the characters had to do a body swap with one another, who would they want to become and what would they do for 24 hours?
