Well. What an episode. Hard to summarise that. But it would seem, at least initially, that we are all alive. So that's good, at least.
But what further horrors will Alex inflict on us?

I think the two week wait built up a lot of anxiety... I'm relieved and exhausted this morning! All the coffee!!
So relieved... For the time being...

I reckon the party has been here all along.

I reckon the party has been here all along. And the whole thing is just a simulation? Nah. That's pretty dissatisfying in terms of storytelling. I don't think Alex would do that.

I don't think Alex would do that. or maybe they've been here since some sort of shared experience. Going into the magic room at the hotel? Sleeping at Hamid's? Choosing Brutor over the other dog in other London? Maybe its just a shared eel keesh hallucination?

KEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSHHHHHH!!! but a overall shared experience I feel would also be pretty unsatisfing However brilliant episode as always, loved the ending of it, as well as the elements of body horror. Thought that there could have been a bit more description while still keeping the podcast family friendly, but that's my opinion.

The trigger warning at the beginning made me prepare for the worst so I was happily surprised to get Zolf AND Bertie back in the mix! I'm interested to hear Bertie's side of all this and whether it played out in game with dice rolls or if it was magically retconned.
Sasha climbing down a cliff, in pitch darkness, to follow the tentacle beast is simlutaneously the bravest and stupidest thing I ever heard.
Great Episode!

Amazing episode!
Sasha is crazy but I kinda understand it. She's not had real friends before, more [significant pause] acquaintances, so when people who actually care for her (and who she cares for, remember her reaction when Barnes put Zolf in jail?) go over a cliff she follows in the slightly more rogue-y fashion which means she doesn't splash at the bottom.
I wanna know what's gonna happen with Zolf's legs. Does he get more move penalties for having 2 peg legs? Or a wheelchair like Mad Hamish in the Discworld books. That's be crazy for mechanics I guess.
Also, I'm assuming there will be new scars all around for Hamid, Sasha and Zolf. Well, Zolf has lost a whole leg, but yeah.

Yeah, can just see Zolf spinning around, stabbing people at groin-height with the trident or tripping them up as he whizzes past

I had flashbacks to DBZ with Zolf in the Rejuvenation chamber.
really good episode! I loved the entrances of both Zolf and Bertie and cant wait to hear how the hell they got out of the catacombs.
also... could someone wake Hamid up please?

Just theorising here, but I think it's got something to do with the gnome lawyer types.
Also, I had a crazy thought about Frankenstein showing up? But that's just because steampunk 19th century etc etc. Wherever they are might not even be close to Geneva or Naples or whatever. Just speculating.

I know I'm way behind here, but I am listening to this on Halloween.. it seems appropriate with all the horror of the tubes and body parts.
This.
Got.
