Welcome to the forum! Always great to have new people discover the podcast. If Jonny has managed to involved his parents as cast members, I see no reason our listeners shouldn't do the same!

New hooked listener to "The Magnus Archives" all thanks to my daughter. We were discussing really good writing has no extraneous adventures but all ties together. She mentioned I should have a listen. Well she was spot on with this recommendation. I'm still somewhere in season two - feeling a bit like a creeper reading your conversations on the episodes - thought I should say "hello" and I'm so impressed. Welcome to the creeper-brigade! *skitters back into the shadows*

Hi to the new faces! Sorry I haven’t been checking in as often as I once did but it’s for all the best reasons!

So I, um, should probably also say hello here. Hello.
The Magnus Archives brought me here - I started listening quite recently but I've already managed to catch up and am now eagerly awaiting more. I've also made a start on Rusty Quill Gaming, but I think it'll be some time before I'm up to date there.
To be honest I'm a pretty anxious person. I have a nasty habit of agonising over things I shouldn't worry about, so I'm prone to writing messages that are far longer than they have to be, and take me far too long to actually type.
So that's me then. Hi everyone.

Hi and welcome! No worries, that anxiety and agonizing about things/needing too long to write description sounds pretty much exactly like my problems and everyone was always very nice to me here! So I'd say your thoughts and everything else is very much wanted and welcome!

You'd think anxiety problems and listening to a horror podcast wouldn't mix well, and yet here we are. It's funny how that works.

Welcome Bartleby! Hope you like it here and find the place welcoming - we value any contributions to the conversation here, however long it takes to compose them, it's all good

I always loved horror, over the years I just became anxious over meeting and talking to people and how they react to me/my thoughts. Real people can be so much scarier than any fictional monsters. 8P There are a lot of people like us two in the forums, so as stated, all is well here.

You're not alone. I have social anxiety that causes me to stress a lot about how I'm perceived, even on internet forums. Everyone here has been really kind and welcoming to me, so I think you've found a good community. Welcome

Binge-listening to RQG

Found the 'hello' post, so, hi! I mentioned on my very first post today somewhere else that I started listening to podcasts only since about October, and Magnus Archives led me to RQG, which is where I am at now. Really really enjoying this. I remember trying podcasts a couple of years ago and it didn't go past the first episode, but this time, I can (somewhat ashamed to) say that I've been binge-listening to RQG while pretending to do work. Ok, no. Really, I do work a lot. But listening is so much more enjoyable. I've listened to Magnus twice, and I may do the same with RQG once I catch up. As of today, I'm somewhere after episode 52.
Anyway, just looking forward for what else is in store!

Hi and welcome, LaCelestina! Binge listening is awesome and definitely worth it for both podcasts, you'll not be disappointed! (And don't skip the special one-shots, they're just as hilarious and fantastic! )

Hey to our recent new influx! We are all on board with binge listening! Just be sensible, we have had a distressing number of people get distracted while driving!

Hello! Been meaning to sign up for a while but IRL kept getting in the way. Got all caught up on The Magnus Archives and I'm currently listening to RQG. I've been lurking the forums for a while, nice to see people interested in MTG, RPGs and Video Games. Literally haven't signed up to a forum since the mid 2000s so this is a real blast from the past (Signatures and Avatars - who remembers those?!) Currently a northerner stuck in "The South" - MK way - it's alright I suppose. Great to meet you all anyroad.
