Hi all, and apologies for the radio-silence. I'm in the run up to releasing a horror-noir roleplaying game & I figured I'd open up the beta reading & playtesting to the members here -- especially suited for those who equally love the Archives and the feathery pen thing. In EXUVIAE, you're an inhabitant of a 1940s bayside city that's secretly under the control of an insect cult -- you're fighting to get the conspiracy out in public. It plays out in a single session with no preparation & is powered by a single pack of playing cards. You could be lucky and roll natural twenties all night; you won't draw the Ace of Spades twice, sam. If you're interested in taking a look, feel free to drop me a message with an email address I can send the rules to, or elsewise I've set up a G+ community that you're welcome to nose along to and join in. I'll also be running a couple of playtests in London within the next few weeks -- if you're keen to take part in one of them, feel free to comment below! I'm also open to any questions about the design & process &c.

I'd be interested in having a read, although I don't think I'll be able to play test it - I'll drop you a PM I might be interested in joining a playtest, but, as bravesirrobyn will tell you, I'm a bit of a flake

You're more than welcome to come along when I put a playtest in place: and the game is resilient enough to run with fewer players than it expects! Thanks for the PM -- I've sent you the document.

I wouldn't describe you as flaky. If you say you'll do something, you normally do. You're just busy a lot. And you live so very far away from everywhere.
Your spelling of course, remains atrocious. :-D

Sounds really neat, but, unfortunately, I'm across the pond. Would it be possible for me to join-in over the interwebs?

I just realised that I've done that whole forget to share the live project thing.
So here it is. A weekend in, and we're already £200 from funding.

Oh my god, I love games built around a card system. My friends and I having been waiting for a good one for ages. I can't playtest, sadly, 'cause I'm in America, but I'm definitely interested.
