They've done it! They've FINALLY LEFT PARIS!! *breaks out the fireworks and the party streamers* (Okay, so they're still technically in French airspace, but hey, let's not quibble)
So, we have the intrepid airship captain Amelia who has not only committed the cardinal sin of validating Bertie (who also seems to have overlooked her gnomish heritage) but also looks set to throw a figurative (if not literal at some point) spanner in the works with her revelations about Zolf's family and her/their Separatist ways. What of these Harlequins? And what of their ties to Sasha as well? And just how well is this going to sit with the more Establishment-minded of the team?
Again, some beautiful touches as Zolf's airsickness manifests itself - sea legs obviously not transferring well to the skies - and Bertie's sheer exhilaration in displaying confidence of expertise in something he barely has any understanding of. Possibly the most elegant, though, is Sasha's dawning realisation that maybe not all vehicles are to her taste - though that could just be the presence of Bertie - and that these 'punks of steam' might be a bit outré even for her. And will Bertie ever be able to get away from the 'boa'?
