OR: Keep Calm and Carry On
So, after some malodorous unpleasantness at the docks, it's time to scrub up and get to the opera house. It's almost time for the show to begin! Only, Grizzop and Sasha seem to be at odds with Bertie and Hamid over this... Fundamental class differences seem to come to the fore as the manager has to decide whether to believe them or not. Will the show get to go on?
So, put yourself in the manager's shoes: you're faced with a group of (semi-)smart adventurers telling you your show - with hundreds of elite paying guests - has to be cancelled out of some unseen fear of zombies. What would you do? Do you think Alex handled this in a believable manner?
And more importantly - will Bertie get his interval drink without having to queue at the bar?

I'd forgotten how weird the 'sponsored content' running joke had got in this episode. IT just sort of came out of nowhere, but we were all having far too much fun torturing Alex.
I also found this episode strange to listen to - I've been chatting with Ben since we recorded it and I think I sort of misplayed Hamid a bit here. Whilst he does want the show to go on, and he's trying to balance that with assessing the situation and helping to thwart (what he is pretty sure is an inevitable) potential necromancer attack, I'm not sure I got the balance right. Whilst he certainly started a bit more impetuous and reckless I feel like he's actually learned to be a bit more cautious over the last 75 episodes than he acted here.
I think I, as a player, was just enjoying the idea of the climactic showdown lining up with the Opera too much.

This episode was so great! Listening to every episode always makes my day a hundred times better!
I always loved RPGs and never found a group to play with. Hearing fun people like you all play is the next best thing and makes me happy. Thank you for being awesome!
