OR: "Missing pieces"
Today we learn what lies beneath the sands... of Cornwall this time, rather than Egypt. And that time and tide can't damage the main message of some books. We're unearthing secrets a plenty as both Melanie and Basira bring their own revelations to bear. Things seem fraught so early on in the season. Something is brewing, and there's a stronger likelihood that it's a storm and not Martin's tea...

I'm super happy Basira is back. Martin thinking she "liked" Jon was hilariously done.
We've had a couple episodes this season so far that really paint vivid pictures of what a descent into madness is like, and yet this one and "Upon the Stair" manage to still feel like they're touching different forms of madness such that the episodes feel wholly unique.
I also love how the statement glossed over murdering the bookseller.
"Before I dug into him." And that's all you really get.
This was so good.

Can only wholeheartedly agree with amethystend on everything! The fun character bits in between are great. Now that Basira is back and knows what Daisy is up to I kinda want her to come to the rescue like Leitner, almost too late, because it would be quite the drama. But I'm certain whatever is actually planned will be awesome! And what amethystend said about the uniqueness of the episodes and the different forms of madness - very true, well done distinction for madness caused by different powers. And I'm excited to hear what will happen with the circus, now that it's confirmed that the calliope is missing. And to someday learn how what is hidden under Jon's office looks like.

Lost Johns' Cave now has something to connect to! I don't believe this underground/buried alive theme is connected to any that we're more familiar with. Is this another of the 13 entities?

It sounds like #71 Underground (and maybe #57 Personal Space) fits into this theme as well. At least if these incidents don't fall into the realm of the Spiral with the victims being caught in a perpetual state of entrapment.

It sounds like #71 Underground (and maybe #57 Personal Space) fits into this theme as well. I think Underground is a great candidate, but Personal Space seems more like it fits in either with Alone and Botswain's Call or with Freefall and similar abyss/Ex Altiora events. At least if these incidents don't fall into the realm of the Spiral with the victims being caught in a perpetual state of entrapment. I'm inclined to think this isn't the Spiral. These underground episodes focus a lot more on being surrounded, enclosed, embraced, and/or crushed than being lost or deceived.

Personally, I think it's microsoft dynamics 365. Only they seem to be capable of doing that.
