OR: "Pass, With Merit"
So, the sordid details of Hamid's ignominious departure from uni and his enmity with Gideon are finally revealed. And frankly, it's all too real in its tragedy - unfamiliar circumstances leading to falling in with bad folk, and the "join the bullies or be their victim" scenarios that showcase the fine line in these kind of pack dynamics.
And then Wilde appears. I wonder how long before even Azu starts to find him grating? Having seen her companions reactions, she must be somewhat confused... And we finally meet a Meritocrat, up close and personal, and everything goes... rather okay. I have to say, I wasn't expecting the outcomes to be quite as rosy, especially with Sasha's affliction and Hamid's lineage reveal, though I guess there's still a gap between permission and the deed itself in Sasha's case. Much applause goes to the wonderful RP from everyone in Apophis' chamber and to the RQ Editors for the amazing work on the vocals here!
So, what next for LOLOMG, and is the future starting to look brighter?

You know how in set world video games they hand you health kits and ammo right before a massive boss fight or hoard survival; I'm trying so hard not to see this as that. But hey, who knows... things could be just fine. Right?!
So, Hamid's lineage is no secret for the group now. Or for his sister, that now has to remember she's working for her great-great-great-kffghjjhgfvhhhh-great-granddragon? Because that's not awkward. I'm glad we now rather know how he may look in a few years. But will he be the equivalent of a halfling dragon? Like pocket sized for dragon kind?

Yes, there's nothing that says he gets bigger. He just gradually becomes a dragon-y humanoid, at his current size.

That was such a good episode!!! I did just repeat "hamid, oh hamid" increasingly squeakily for the first 10 minutes.
Also, "i stuff the whole sausage in" "like a duck!" , and the awkward series of death puns was very good

Did this episode end with a good thing happening? People said nice things, and then agreed it was reasonable that they should get what they want? Has Alex gone soft?
Really enjoyed this one. It was great to hear Hamid's backstory finally come out.

You would be the perfect lighter for Azu for making campfires. I really thought you would get bigger, but a Hamid sized Dragon is so much cuter.

Alex has not gone soft, that is what you call the calm before the storm, I am sure. But it was very nice to have an episode without emotional trauma for everyone.

This one made me cry a little, in the best way. I am just so weirdly proud of these people for being who they are, with all their convictions and good intentions and their willingness to stand up to literally anyone to save someone they care about.

They have become such a good band of friends who are loyal to each other, I really love it.

I love Hamid so much, and he's trying so hard to do whats right! I'm so proud of him for trying his best, for accepting the responsibility so utterly, and doing everything he can to improve!
