OR: "Locks and Keys"It's always fun when Wilde comes to play... though I don't know if NPC flirting is any more or less comfortable? creepy? than Bertie x Wilde or Edward Anyway, the words of temptation still pull at Sasha, even as Grizzop's pragmatism renders a cold verdict. And we find that honesty really was the best policy as the descent into the vault starkly reveals that attempting to go off the path would be highly inadvisable. But step 2 in curing Sasha seems to have gone off without a hitch - they have the Heart of Aphrodite! Now they just need to get it back to the temple safely. Simple. The real question now comes as to what they will find when they open the unknown deposit box...

The real question now comes as to what they will find when they open the unknown deposit box... A copy of the season 2 box set of lost. It symbolises lack of payoff.

Really though, if for no other reason than Hamid is not the one vomiting we should call this all a win. In related thoughts, at least with that slip by the guard you might have a plausible method for defending against the incoming Beholders...

Could it be documents about the Automaton? I mean, it's been a while now since their original mission came back into view - which is good, because there's been so much go on, just like real life, it's kind of drifted from focus - but I suspect that it'll be returning with a loud bang at some point soon...

My oldest son just returned from his first week ever of sleep-away summer camp (he's gone to day camps before) and as soon as we reached the car he demanded to listen to "The podcast with the funny voice goblin and Hamid!" Apparently he's spent all week talking about his favorite podcast that's "like telling a story but way cooler because there's an orc and a rogue that killed a squizard and Hamid blows stuff up" (his words).
So today I'm re-listening to this episode over again and enjoying getting to watch my kid giggle at Carter and his tiny whiny violin for sympathy.
