OR: "Filed, But Not Forgotten"At long last the key is used, and the mystery vault is open for its wonders to be marvelled at... So, who had "the world's messiest office" in the forum pool, then? And thankfully Sasha remembers that rogues have skills other than throwing daggers, thereby preventing the evidential conflagration. And doesn't she just come up with the right goods - folder of actual evidence, some gold and some diamonds, sounds like a good day's work for LOLOMG. Although poor Wilde would do well to remember than short in stature does not mean short in memory, and that a goblin is very well placed to do called shots. Well, I daresay he won't be forgetting after today... So, it's off to the temple of Aphrodite but obviously it isn't going to be that simple. Who are these mysterious robed figures? More squizards? Barret's goons? Or something else entirely?

And let us all not forget, that Hamid cast FIREBALL, twice. That is one of the highlights of the episode, besides Lydia rolling 20s over and over for disabeling all the traps.

My seven year old was so excited to listen to this and hear Hamid cast fireball. I think it was his chosen highlight of the episode. The fact this show is usually quite safe to listen to as a family is a big part of why I support on Patreon. <3
Listening to "the silly voice goblin" (my son's name for him) pull a nut-check on Wilde made me snort my drink. Thank you LOLOMG for that experience. A mojito does wonders for the sinuses when unexpectedly snorted due to laughter. Much as I adore Azu and not harming more than needed is a personal tenant of my own life, I have to agree it was absolutely called for and should have happened months ago.

I love how Sahsa was all 'maybe this guy isn't so useless' now that Hamid can blow stuff up. Also I am loving hearing about your son's reactions to the episodes. I demand it be a regular feature.

I thought you were on 6th as well, but when I looked it up in the SRD, at 6th level you should only be able to cast fireball 3 times a day, but you said 4 in the podcast? Unless you get to cast more cause its fire. It's not that important anyway, I just happened to have the PFSRD open at the time

This podcast has helped him decide he wants to learn to play DnD. Before it was just kind of a strange thing mom and dad do with their grown up friends, now he wants to join. And it makes summer even better since my students are out of class for the break and we have no current game.
I'll see if I can make notes on his reactions a regular thing.

And on a sidenote: This podcast made me want to play myself so much and I told all my friends so much about RQG that I finally have a group to play. I have to be the GM though, for the first time and I am a bit scared. But I play with four of my best friends and hope they will be nice to me.

Thank you elbereth2502My son is amazing to me. I try hard not to be "that mom" but he's one of the coolest tiny humans I've had the pleasure to know. He was born with hearing impairments and had surgery and implants to assist with hearing, so the fact that his favorite thing right now is listening to a podcast is kind of amazing to me. He's now started requesting an hour of podcast time rather than time on the Xbox as a reward for doing chores. So I'm thrilled that he's enjoying this one, he's up to episode 7 on his re-listen and I need to start getting his reactions to each one. Pathfinder is rather easy to learn if you ever played through DnD 3.5 or ADnD. I learned from my father (one of our few good shared experiences) on his set of minis and dice he'd held onto since college in the 70s. 3.5 was what I taught most of my friends to play while we were in high school and now we use pathfinder mostly because it is so much easier to have 1-2 tablets for mutual use at the gaming table rather than 20+ books for 5 players and a GM. More so since even owning our house, space is limited. I really do need to remember to join the RQ Discord. I spent about 3 hours last night editing photos for a client and could have at least joined and lurked for a bit.
