OR: "Hail and Hearty"
And lo, once the exasperation and explanations were concluded, our dear Sasha was returned to a state of not being mostly undead. And there was much rejoicing! And much gratitude in unexpected forms So, once dinner was had and the halfling hijinks sorted out - that's not gonna be a problem for the al-Tahan family at all, is it... I mean, you don't have any sorcerors except in legend and then 3 come along at once, all in the same lineage. I wonder if the Officers of Apophis Office might have something to say... - it's time to bid farewell to Cairo. With Grizzop's temporal philosophising, it seems only fair that they push on, declining Saira's offer to explore the vault. Thus, enter Einstein, stage anywhere - kinda handy having a teleporter that's just a stonecall away, isn't it? And isn't our errant faculty member just an absolute delight So, on to Damascus - and do dangers and daggers await them there?

How much awkward can be for into one hug? Good show, Sasha.
Also, I wonder if Azu’s new feaux “Heart” is magical. She’s going to be beaming for days.
Maybe she’ll get to hug some goblins. Goblins like hugs.

I replayed Einstein’s section a few times, since it had me laughing so much.

This Episode was super. Not only is Sasha not undead anymore, what made me super happy, but Erin showed some appreciation towards Azu, what also made me happy. I am a bit sad, they decided to skip on the pyramid, I was really curious what would lie in there. And having now also the twins as sorcerers in the family can be quite interesting. Good thing Hamid found it out and told his sister to get them a tutor.
I am really excited what Damaskus holds in store for the party.

To be honest, if my ten-year-old self found that I could suddenly throw fireballs then I would probably have done the same thing as the twins.
And I love Sasha's grateful-but-still-awkward mode.

My seven year old and his little brother with magic would be utterly horrifying. I mean, I love my children, but a mere fight with water guns can leave me cleaning up after them for hours... magic would see me just broken and sipping tea with shaky hands while muttering to myself in horror and insanity. I feel so much for the housekeeping staff at the al-Tahan residence.
I'm so glad that Azu got to witness Fairhands not just being a pretty good healer, but giving at least so "approval?" of her and her skills. I think she deserves a bit of credit for her efforts recently. And Sasha giving Fairhands a hug was awesome, just the best!
On a side note, eldest son has decided he wants one of the Hamid T-shirts from the store and added it to his back to school list of things. SO... I know what I need to order this weekend.

The twins are more like 11-12 (14 but halflings) but yeah, I am not sure I'd want to deal with actual children at that age with unfettered magic powers. Luckily they'll be 0th or 1st level, so they won't have any truly destructive options available to them yet.

That can be quite destructive, since it never misses.

True, but 1d4 + 1 damage isn't huge. And you can't cast it many times.

Yeah, but if a Halfing has 8 HP on level one, they may cause some havoc. But thank God Hamid made sure they get a tutor.

Hamid didn't reach level 1 til university, it's a bit terrifying that the twins have got there so much sooner.
possible new character concept? they each have exactly half the spell levels of a normal sorcerer and count as a single PC...

oh wait, no. i didn't mean that's what the case was. i meant their existence had inspired a new idea for me! (edited my previous post to make that clearer)
i now want to propose a character who is a sorcerer but twins. what else would you need to split? HP? would it still be broken, I guess you'd technically get to act twice in each combat round, but if you scaled back the raw character stats it might still work.

Okay, now I feel a little less stupid, but have shown, that I am neither good with rules nor understanding other human beings 😂
And for the concept: Half HP for either of them sounds fair and half the spellslots. Feats they should have both have the same ones and no individually picking for either of them. I think where problems could lie are things like the AC and Initiative. Do they share Initiative and goe one after the other or do you have to role seperatly? Do they bothe wear similar stuff and weild the same weapons, when they are out of spells? And what if one is able to rest bit the other is not? How do the spellslots regenerate then?
