First and foremost, I want to say that I absolutely love this podcast. I have only been listening for about a week and a half and I'm already on episode 77. With that said however, and yes I'm sure you knew there was a bitch coming, I do take a slight issue with the differences between Live recorded statements and statements that are read by the archivist. My issue is that when somebody is writing and account I'm something that happened to them, there is a very good chance that they will be very descriptive in their writing. However, when a person is giving a verbal account up and experience, they generally tend to be far less descriptive. I only bring this up because I have noticed that the verbal accounts are far less believable as they seem to simply be somebody reading off of a page rather than having a direct conversation. That is literally my only complaint about the show other than a question regarding an episode about a field surgeon. It may have been brought up before or even possibly I may have misunderstood, but I was under the impression that he was in World War II and yet it said that he published his book in 1900 which is long before World War II took place. Thank you so much for making this podcast and please forgive any misspellings or grammatical errors as I am forced to use voice to text. All the best

There's a reason for this, mate. Keep listening and wait until you get to Episode 100.
