I loved recording this episode, the sense of chaos and confusion for most of the riot scene was palpable, and the natural 20 was just so perfect. I think one of the outtakes is just me laughing for about 3 minutes, as anyone who has been to a Quantum Leopard will know, it's much louder in real life.

loved the episode, yeah that natural 20 was brilliant, as well as the 2 and 1/2 minute outtake of the rave being brilliant (especially with James doing it in character) The fact that Brutor was also in the carrying sack (i'm not sure how to spell it) means that he saw EVERYTHING with Bertie and Wilde, as he didn't leave anything behind.

I think the word "hello", as used by the party, is rapidly gaining a plethora of meanings. Its range is growing with every use - from Bertie's ominous "you are about to feel a great deal of pain" to Hamid's mellifluous "please listen to me right now, or Bertie will cause you a great deal of pain which I really don't want him to do but look at me, I'm a halfling and he's a Boris Johnson shaped mountain"
I had a lot of fun listening to this episode, excellent descriptive work from Alex and the players minimised the confusion of what was happening on the battle map to a manageable and colourful "there's a riot going on".

Yeah, "Hello" might be our first catchphrase, which seems quite generic, but it's become a thing.

The question is will Zolf's piratical come back to haunt him now that he's socialising with the Navy...

Loved this episode!!!!!!! The perfect time for a natural 20. Also Hamid's cheerful inane asking of 'why?' Made me laugh so much on the train. Also, faintly disappointed Sasha didn't stabbity-stab the big guy who looked like he might attack her- however the description of how she disappeared into the mist also made me laugh loud enough to get some funny looks.

Really glad everyone liked it. I do think it was a really strong episode, and I also reckon we have some equally good ones coming up soon.

That poor animal... But then it IS Brutor so you hope he didn't really know what was going on...

not sure how to make "hello" into worthwhile merch. Hmmmm. Careful, you might have to make Adele or Lionel into a NPC...

This episode, hands down, just made me want to see this adventure as a movie!!
Perfectly timed 20, perfectly timed storm (with lightening!) it was Epic! (Epic Bertie!)

not sure how to make "hello" into worthwhile merch. Hmmmm. A tasteful range of cute Hello Bertie branded accessories, overpriced and in garish colours. As per missnash's suggestion: a duet featuring Zolf and Hamid covering Lionel Ritchie's Hello. A black T Shirt with the vaguest silhouette of a dagger wielding shadow with a speech bubble whispering "hello" with a subtle emphasis on hell.
