genius episode. That poem was one of a number that always freaked me out when I was growing up, but I was always fascinated by it too.

err...is there any remote chance of having the 'statement begins..statement ends...' as a t-shirt/gym vest in the store. I don't need any more pillows in the house

i am loving this series! Combining my love of history and that Rusty Quill flair! I appreciate the author interviews as well for that extra insight. I definitely want more!

I listen to a variety of podcasts all day - the drama ones:
Black tapes Tanis the Bright sessions Alice isn't dead Welcome to Nightvale Leviathan Chronicles - its been on hiatus for a while due to the death of the podcasters wife, but he will be starting it up again soon
not started: Deadly Manners Darkest Night (lee Pace narrates this) The Dark Tome

dropping in to say hi and thanks again for another fab episode. My red string is in knots. Work has been a bit busy and I'm costuming for Armageddon this weekend (comic con wellington style) but I'm still here!!!

thanks for keeping me somewhat sane while i've been moving house and being stressed at work. I'm still listening and will chat more once life stuff stops interfering with my red stringing

This episode reminds me of the tv show 'The Librarians' - one library, librarians selected through the ages with the library being an entity of its own, but I'm probably playing with blue string and distracted by work/moving house stress. I do think that whatever the watched feeling is from is reminiscent of the watched feeling in the archive, perhaps its inevitable that a place that houses that much knowledge and esoteria will start to be or attract a certain amount of sentience. the Magnet Archives (sorry, couldn't resist)

I am still listening but with work at 60 hour weeks for project endings i have no red thread to make any cohesive connections.
That the Magnus archives are keeping me sane in deadline madness...well... that just about says it all.
Another Gertrude one on its way ... so exciting!!!

I would like to thank the scheduling for releasing this episode at the beginning of mosquito season in the Southern Hemisphere. I'm also severely allergic to mosquito bites. I would contribute, but I'm crouched in the corner of my room with a can of insect repellent. me too - i have about seven from this holiday - i get blisters and huge red circles from bites. Anthisan does nothing for the itching >_<
