So after reading the thread about other real play shows we're into, I thought it would be good to see what other podcasts you guys listen to that are more straight audio theatre, like The Magnus Archives.
I'm just starting to delve into this stuff, haven't found many where the description grabbed me yet. The only one I've found, loved and devoured was Star Trek: Outpost. Their first episode was put out in April of 2009, and they're still going, which just boggles my mind that they've kept the same crew and voice actors together for that long. It captures the spirit of Star Trek really well, focusing mainly on relationships and solving problems through reasoning and diplomacy, and keeping that optimistic spirit that Gene Roddenbery created the franchise with going. They mostly have a good blend of serious and humour, although to nitpick once or twice I felt they leaned a bit too hard on the campy humour. I've been absolutely enthralled by it. I'm a big Trek fan and it's become another one of the series' in my mind, along with the TV shows.
I've listened to about 3 eps of Wolf 359 as well, which hasn't fully grabbed me yet but seems promising. It's about a very small crew of people stuck together on a space station for a long period of time, basically grating on one another and going crazy. Very silly in tone, and they pull it off well, it's legitimately funny. I reckon it'll hook me once I get around to giving a few more episodes a listen.
How about everyone else?

I love Alice Isn't Dead, and a lot of the other shows from the Night Vale Presents network are also pretty great! Seconding The Bright Sessions, as well as Ars Paradoxica. I also enjoyed The Black Tapes when I was listening, though I've fallen behind. I'll have to check out some of the recs here, I could use more audio dramas in my life.

I recently discovered The White Vault. There are only three episodes out so far, but they seem very promising. It's guess I would call it an epistolary horror audio drama?

I was going to also suggest The Black Tapes (though skip the last chapter). One that I haven't seen mentioned is Lore. It's pretty good. (Historical research into the uncommon). I will check everyone else's suggestions too. I spend all day at my desk so I need to space out my Magnus/RQG fix.
I just started listening to podcasts sometime in October, so my list is quite short.
