I wish everyone a Happy New Year! And Guten Rutsch! - which means good slide (into the new year). May the new year be kind and bring a lot of success and creativity with as little stress as possible for you all! ♥ Beside the fireworks and clinking glasses it's tradition to eat jam doughnuts here. Some play a game in which one of the doughnuts is filled with mustard instead of jam. We never did that, though. My grandma used to make deep-fried short pastries covered in powdered sugar that my grandpa used to name with a very funny nsfw name I probably shouldn't say. But not because they looked or tasted bad, they were absolutely delicious! What are your New Year's Eve traditions?

Doughnut based holidays for the win. I welcomed in the new year playing bananagrams and winning with the word “Shuriken”.

Happy New Year everyone! Thanks for being such a lovely community over the last year, and here's to a good 2018! NYE for me was spent playing Dixit and Coup in very good company. Attachments:

My gaming friends usually get together on NYE and someone will run a one-shot. This year I got my courage up and GMed for the first time. I ran a Pathfinder game and it went well! There were definitely issues I can learn from, but everyone had a lot of fun so I'm overjoyed. The players included a new person who had never seen a tabletop RPG before, and she is already asking when the next session will be. So... time to get to work on the campaign I'm really grateful to Rusty Quill because RQG is what inspired me to learn Pathfinder, and it has really helped me get up the courage to try GMing finally. Thank you guys for all that you do!

Happy New Year, everyone! May 2019 be kind and generous to you and turn out to be excellent all around! ♥ Sat with my grandma this evening and watched Dinner for One. This show was first aired in 1963 here and runs since then every single year at New Year's Eve. On several programs. Still a fun tradition. XD
