I want to get my brother into The Magnus Archives, but he has a rather short attention span when it comes to podcasts and I'm worried that just showing him the first few episodes won't catch his interest. Does anyone have suggestions on episodes I can play for him that make it clear TMA isn't just a horror anthology podcast, but don't give away too much of the plot?
Thanks!

Any luck on this front with your brother? It's tough to pick episodes to play out of sequence. For me, slowly discovering the overarching plot during season 1 was part of the fun. (Just personal preference there though!) I didn't really notice connections between statements on my first listen until Mag 19 (Confession I) because it's obviously about the same priest from Mag 8 (Burned Out). Not sure how confusing it would be to play those back to back though. Have you considered telling your brother there's an overarching plot without revealing anything specific and then letting him listen at his own pace? The first episode's statement is pretty spooky. Maybe he'll enjoy it more than you expect.
