There are already nice pictures of Jonny's beautiful cats, but there's always space for more! *winkwink-nudgenudge* Who else has pets and what sort? We have a Tortoise, Morle. She's about 57 years old now, the brother of my mother bought her when he was five. Nagged my grandma until she gave in and gave him the money to get her. So she's longer in the family than I'am. She has a bit of a mean streak, loves to rile up dogs. Back when my grandparents still had their dog she was biting his tail (and my grandpa's big toe). And when my grandma lived in houses with a garden that was adjacent to one with a wire-mesh fence through which the neighbor dog was visible, she paraded every day up and down the fence, causing the dog to flip out everytime.

We have a Tortoise, Morle. She's about 57 years old now... That is so cool! 57 years old, that's amazing. I'm currently owned by two cats named Dash and Dare. My family always had dogs growing up so I never considered myself a cat person. After I moved into an apartment though, I figured a kitty would be more appropriate for the smaller space. Fully prepared after reading a Cats 101 book (ha!), I went to an animal shelter where a very nice volunteer placed a kitten into my hands. The little furball started purring (which I've since realized is a highly evolved form of human mind control) so I went back the next day and adopted him along with his brother. Even after 8 years of bonding, my attempts at picture taking were not deemed worthy enough to interrupt nap time. Dare happily conked out in an office chair (now a cat chair of course) and Dash apparently couldn't find a more comfy spot to snooze than on his brother's back.

That is so cool! 57 years old, that's amazing. Hehe, given how old tortoises can get she might even live longer than me. XD *embarrassing cooing and squeeing noises* They are so cute and beautiful! I love cats so much, they're my absolute favorites! We had three cats over the years and I miss having one around, but I don't feel able to take care of another living being right now. All the more exciting to see everyone's cute kitties! So true! XD

I have no pets, sadly. I adore cats, but I am allergic to them. I have heard rumours that story - producer of the magnus archives - has a pet pig. Which, I am pretty sure, means she will win any pet based contest. It is one of my fondest dreams to one day have a pet pig, but I also want to live in London and I suspect these two desires are incompatible.

Ah, yes, I remember you had problems during the charity live-stream because there had been a cat around. Oh my god, a pet pig?! Pigs are so adorable! www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zbsUtQL4nY

This is Zoom, professional Search & Rescue dog teamed with my darling husband. Zoom is himself a rescue after a hurricane demolished his first home and he was shuffled into the animal rescue system. He's a short, rotund, hound mix prone to separation anxiety and stealing used underwear off the bedroom floor to teach children a karmic lesson about "putting one's dirty clothes in the laundry just like their mother told them to do the first time". When not attempting to enlarge his hoard of used socks and undergarments, he enjoys sleeping on the couch, drooling all over the duvet, and going for 5k training runs with my husband and I. He retired this January from his time as a working dog in the Search & Rescue profession where he participated in 23 different searches across the White Mountains section of the upper Appalachian Trail (the northern and western parts on Maine & New Hampshire in the US for anyone not planning on pulling out an atlas to look up those places). As you might guess from my avitar, Zoom is not our only canine family member... but I am a horrible pet mom and play favorites like it is my job.

You all have really cute pets. I do not have one currently but I would really like to get a dog again. My dog, Kiara, died now five years ago and I do not have a lifestyle at the Moment to give a dog a good home.
The good thing is though, that a lot of my friends have dogs and so I always find one to cuddle and play with.
And this is a Picture of my former dog, Kiara:
