Please do not ask me to guess how many hours a day I spend thinking about this podcast. Oh same. I think i worked out i spent 11 out of 16 waking hours listening to this podcast a week or two ago? Its my go to background noise when im doing non-thinking things, how i take study breaks, what i listen to when im walking the dogs, or cleaning my room. I even listened to it when im doing some of the easier past papers. This podcast has taken over a ridiculous amount of my life, and i just love relistening to it. You'd think Id get bored 4th time round, but no its still amazing

I even ignore my work colleagues because I listen at work to audio drama. If I have to do something I have to concentrate on, I relisten to older Podcasts I already know, mostly Rusty Quill, if I do anything I do not have to concentrate on I listen to knew stuff. And since my day off is on Wednesday it is a loved tradition for me to lsiten to the new Rusty Quill episode while having breakfast. So audio drama has totally taken over my life. I even think I am starting to annoy my friends.

It is totally nice. Waking up putting the headphones in, preparing breakfast and just listening to my favorite Podcast is a real fun tradition. But when I discovered Rusyt Quill at the beginning of April it just took me 9 days or so to listen to all of the episodes to catch up. And that was quite an intense time. I did not even want to meet my friends on the weekend because then I would not have been able to listen to the podcast.

Your morning listening ritual sounds awesome elbereth2502 For the first time in well over two years I finally get to game with adults again and since it is my turn to DM that game I've forced all my players to listen to RQG now. One of our players apparently was so into her binge she was listening to it while baking wedding cakes last week. I just keep it to while I'm cooking dinner or doing kitchen chores since it is mostly safe for my kids to wander in and overhear (safer than my deep, dark true crime obsession).

And because I so like that ritual I do not listen to it a day early, even though I could because of being a patreon. But on Tuesdays I have to work, so no nice long breakfast.
And I would really like to habe a group to play the game, but sadly none of my friends want to, but RQG makes up for it a lot.

Next week is my final game with the teens I teach at work. After that our house remodel has another two-three weeks. When that is done I get to have this adults game and might see if I can nudge my husband into willingly running another game through our Discord server, in which case gaming with people not close enough to come take over the lower floor of our house is an option again. I do highly recommend looking into the Discord gaming options if you find your nerd brain needs an outlet. I do not however recommend starting a full house remodel with the words "I think we need a new fridge".

Really enjoyed the philosophical / psychological discussions in this thread, some really interesting (and accurate) points were made. Unfortunately we've just got a bunch of flawed characters (two of whom are having a really horrible time) basically trying to do the right thing, but disagreeing about what and why that is. There's more of this plot to come, but I'd love to resume the discussion once the plot moves on from Cairo, as I think there's so many interesting character elements in play here - but it's hard for me to talk about them fully without potentially spoiling the upcoming episodes. Also, the amount of love shown in this thread to our little podcast is incredible. It still feels weird to me occasionally that a thing I do with friends for fun is a thing that real people actually listen to and enjoy. But it is the BEST!

Well when you make an amazing podcast, with interesting characters, a brilliant story and wonderful people making it, I don't think you can expect much else

Also, the amount of love shown in this thread to our little podcast is incredible. It still feels weird to me occasionally that a thing I do with friends for fun is a thing that real people actually listen to and enjoy. But it is the BEST! This "little" podcast (as you call it) took over a huge part of my life. For the first time since Lord of the Rings came to the cinemas I bought merchandise for anything I liked. And I found a community on this forum that is in some parts as geeky as I am, a thing I missed with my closest friends. I share a huge junk of interests with them but RPG is not one of them. And the story is immersive and the characters are well made and acted. Also RQG gaming has very often made a bad day a lot better for me being hilarious. So for me it is not a "little podcast" but as cherised a some of my favourite books, like Terry Pratchett and Lord of the Rings (which I all habe read for several times, just as I listened to most of the episodes more once). I just hope all of you will just keep the episodes coming for a long time.

Azu's fangirling of Eren Fairhands never gets old. I'm sure that once Azu is out and about in the world, Eren will miss her enthusiasm and admiration. (Okay, maybe not. And maybe he'll have fewer headaches and rid himself of that persistent twitch, but maybe? MAYBE?!) Also, I hope Topaz got some extra nice treats after she was summoned in a collapsing, low-ceiling-ed tavern and then needing to escort Howard Carter, Sasha, Azu, and Grizzop back to the Tahan estate. Through paparazzi, no less! I'm on the fence regarding the Big Disagreement, though I lean more on the side of Grizzop and Azu (who rightfully stuck to their morals). But it worked out that Hamid's plea for more context/info is giving them more perspective and a chance to make sure that the "right people" do receive justice, rather than being chosen or sacrificed in the name of it. RIP Ben's voice after all that shouting this episode. Kudos to Alex for more hilarious Howard Carter antics. I think I'll miss his cursed state. But wow, what a twist at the end! It was the perfect one too, after that whole blowup in the middle. Speaking of, did we settle what the duo name for Grizzop and Azu is yet? "Grizzu" and "Azzop" haven't really hit it for me, so I'm tentatively calling them the "Palapals" until I can think of something better.

There was a Poll for names though I admit I only ran it for a week and I think most of the discussion ended up on which God was the patron deity of such a task... AzzOp ended up the winner but I may revive it if more suggestions are needed.
