OR: "Based on a supernatural story"What happens when you try to film a Leitner? The library casts a long shadow as we discover attempts to bring an obscure book to big screen success - Dexter Banks had a vision he just wanted to share with, well, a select group of talent it seems. Maybe less a guest for Mr. Spider than a herald? I love the last description of Alexia's of what she saw as "its Impossible Web" (even as much as I'm shuddering at the spider). There are plenty of stories of films collapsing or failing for sundry reasons - now we start to wonder how many of them are actually fronts for strange Powers? And then we get Martin and Basira and Melanie, what will this trio come up with in their efforts to be more proactive? How much red string is yet to be added to the web?

Great episode! I can't offer any useful thoughts that others haven't stated more eloquently on the subreddit, but yay for potential revenge on Elias. Loved the imagery of film reel as webbing too, but ugh, spiders.
This statement got to me more than usual because a huge arachnid recently took up residence in the egress window of my basement. Nothing near the size of the creature in this week's story (yet), but larger than anything I've seen around the area before. Unfortunately, my desktop PC is in the basement, so it's become a habit over the past few weeks to 'spot the spider' every time I go down there. It freaks me out, but I feel better confirming it's still on the safe side of the glass. Misery loves company, so enjoy? WARNING: SPIDER IMAGES
The legs always creep me out the most. Seriously Nature, are all those limbs really necessary? Friends assure me it's harmless and afraid of humans and blah blah blah, but a couple days ago it was sitting on the drain cover and I swear it saw me because it raised its front legs and rushed up to the freaking glass. And stared at me. I think it wants to eat me. Or get me to finally wash the window. Possibly both. Please send help.

Glad you think so! It is graceful in a terrifying sort of way.
Sooo happy giant spiders don't exist outside fiction 'cause getting your insides liquified sounds truly horrific. Might be why Dexter Banks's poor actors turned up missing their internal organs though. Yeesh.

Yeah I love spiders but i dont think id want a giant one existing For years my ex and I kept lovely and graceful spiders (I still have wild orb weavers all about the barn and pastures here that I photograph often). I'd like to address a minor error here though... Giant spiders do exist. The Goliath Bird-Eater is a bit larger than a small dog or medium sized crow. I've photographed a few at zoos and herpetology/arachnid exhibits in NYC and Boston, and they fascinate me in a "you are lovely from behind that nice thick pane of glass" way. If you want to give yourself a few arachnid based nightmares, this list might help... www.conservationinstitute.org/10-of-the-worlds-largest-spiders/As for another point of the story... those troubling bodies found washed up now and again. There is in fact a rather regular occurrence of body parts washing up along a stretch of the North American and Low Canadian Pacific coastline on a rather regular basis with no explanation as to who they are or where they came from. The police in the area apparently do not feel it is worthy of panic. You know, because random disembodied feet just popping up along the shore is nothing really to worry about in the long run. www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2017/12/12/570189142/human-feet-still-washing-up-in-pacific-northwest-but-dont-panic
