OR: "Blasts and the Past"Well, it seems after much (seeming) digression, LOLOMG are back on their original path, with some solid info on the Simulacrum project and who should show up - or rather, be delivered neatly tied up - but Barratt Racket, Sasha's erstwhile 'uncle'. What's the betting that this is all going to be tied up nice and neatly? Takeaway message from this ep - don't walk up unannounced on a party of adventurers as they just finish a fight. It's liable to get you an arrow in delicate places at the very least. Imagine if it wasn't Grizzop's arrows but Hamid's fireball that was on readied trigger finger. Especially given the way the dice were falling for Bryn here So, what do you think Barrat has for them? And what of the guy who looks a bit like Wellington? Are we in for some more beef? Will LOLOMG put the boot in further?

This weeks episode was totally Bad Bum... though now my two kids both run around shouting that phrase at everything they do. It is a vast improvement over hearing the oldest use the word "epic" until I want to cry. I feel like for most of this episode this image is entirely appropriate; also it fits with Hamid's writing style: Really there is so much to unpack with the delivery at the end that I have to take it apart slowly in my head. I'm so very glad for the observation that Hades is not a "bad guy" innately though. Of the primary three (Zeus, Poseidon, Hades) he was the only not to have affairs, not to commit repeated sexual assault, and was tricked into his place as King of the Underworld by the other two because brothers are sometimes jerks. I'm anxious to see how the rest of this unfolds, but I feel like the fact that it was Hamid rather than Sasha that did the interrogation and allowed her space and breathing room is a sign of huge character growth and group bonds.

I had to listen to the ending twice so that I do get everything. I am really excited to find out what Barrett has in store for the party, especially about the Cult of Hades. And what will happen with all the Simulacrums in the warehouses?
And I am curious what is the role of Hades in this world and how people see him, because I think he is one of the most misunderstood gods in greek mythology.

I think that actually it would be Wilde's Angels, rather than Sasha's Angels, but I didn't have the heart to put him in the image!
