OR: "To sleep, perchance to dream"Well, here we are at the end of the finale, at the end of The Magnus Archives' most ambitious series. It's been an absolute rollercoaster for everyone, no doubt about that. We hope you've enjoyed this series - we've certainly enjoyed making it, even if things have been a bit strained at times here at Rusty Towers to get it all ready in time No doubt this episode is deeply satisfying on many levels, though I also imagine it's both better and worse than folks have been imagining. At least, there's no cliffhanger about their statuses, right... There's a lot to unpick, so I'll leave you all to your musings with the most apt quote I reckon: “To die, to sleep – to sleep, perchance to dream – ay, there’s the rub, for in this sleep of death what dreams may come…” -- Hamlet ( Hamlet, Act III, Scene I)

Yay, Basira's alive! And Jon is... mostly alive? Not complaining, I'll take what I can get at this point.
The nightmare reveal was so good! Especially the part with the Eye. Deep down, is Jon just as devoted to his Patron as someone like Jude or Michael Crew or is that his own secret fear? Either way, I'm worried he won't be willing to stop Watcher's Crown in the end.
And Elias got punched! Finally. What kind of arrogant psychopath keeps tape recordings of their crimes in their own office? Though it's obvious now he'd prepared for Peter Lukas to take over as Head of the Institute for some time. ('Less murder' was excellent advice, Martin!) Absolutely no idea how the new boss will pan out, which is super fun. Season 3 was amazing! <3 Very much looking forward to January, and I hope everyone at Rusty Quill enjoys a much deserved break in the meantime.
Also thank you for continuing to post about each episode Oneiros. It can be pretty quiet over here, especially with most folks on Discord now, but I always enjoy reading your thoughts.

re: "Less Murder" I'll steal a quote from _The Return of Jafar,_ saying "You'd be surprised what you can live through."

True! And Jon's probably getting a taste of just that. Endlessly cycling through a hellish nightmarescape isn't on my bucket list anyway.
