We leave Damascus for a while, and head to the interdimensional nexus metropolis of Throne - a city steeped in conflict, twisted dimensions and even more twisted inhabitants. Welcome to the world of Kill Six Billion Demons, a webcomic by ABADDON (Tom Parkinson-Morgan, @orbitaldropkick) and its accompanying RPG, Broken Worlds, which is available to KSBD Patreon supporters. We also welcome Lydia to the GM's throne for the very first time and wish her all the luck in trying to keep Alex, Bryn & Helen on track to complete their objective. From the get go, the trademark RQGaming humour infuses the situation but can it cover the cracks of intraparty conflict as social status and demonic behaviours are displayed. Note that as a comic/setting dealing with demonic themes, there is a content note for more mature imagery, particularly as some of the descriptions may get a bit visceral. This is a 4 part special, and will be followed by a 2-part light-hearted caper with Grant Howitt's Honey Heist. RQGaming will resume the campaign proper with RQG111 on January 2nd 2019.

We have an Unexpected Chicken Infestation, type Four. Repeat, type Four. Dispatch the appropriate clean-up teams and ready the deep fryers.

Well, Broken Worlds was a beautiful mess, but Honey Heist has me printing it to play with the family at Christmas, so... winner?

We play honey heist with the kids a few times a year, mostly when they have snow days from school. Listening to this was fantastic and I'm so glad others enjoy it too! It is one of those games where the rules are pretty loose and the point is just to have things go wrong in the best possible way. Clearly a game meant for children and those who never entirely "grew up".

and those who never entirely "grew up". I think truer words about Grant Howitt have never been said

Lydia was superb as GM! And the whole thing was hilarious! XD ♥ Also, Alex's characters are so funny! His "When in doubt go for annoying" motto works great! (Oh, by the way, the Mister Doctor thing - that's actually what people say to doctors here in Germany. Mr./Mrs. Doctor whatevernamehere. And if you are in the room, it's not uncommon to hear the assistants unironically say stuff like "The Mr. Doctor will be in shortly." XD) Six Billion Demons is so amazing! The artwork alone is so beautiful! Back when Lydia talked about the book Blindsight I read it and that too was awesome. We absolutely need a Lydia Recommends section!
