OR: "Missing Persons"Well now... someone's not very happy are they? Someone is turning up the pressure on LOLOMG, as we move from a treasure hunt to the action movie portion of proceedings. A veritable fantasy Taken, starring Liam Neeson as Hamid. The collateral damage has already started. A medusa assassin fails to deal with them as yet another major antagonist falls to the luck of LOLOMG. (RIP Squizard.) But Alex has more tricks up his sleeve. After all, if you can't hurt them directly, then friends and family will do just as well. Is there any wonder why many PCs are lone wolf orphans Some nice work as Einstein returns, albeit bearing bad news - and doubly bad as it looks like all roads lead to Rome... I guess we get ready for Hamid Smash!

I wish I could belch dragon fire at my problems, it sounds like a useful skill!
I'm just thinking about the noise as it comes out, though. Given Hamid's usual... range - is it an unexpectedly deep roar or more like a pterodactyl screech?

I'm just thinking about the noise as it comes out, though. Given Hamid's usual... range - is it an unexpectedly deep roar or more like a pterodactyl screech? I'm reminded of his scream when he heard about his sister's death - pterodactyl screech would be fun. XD As Helen said, Medusa does have a sympathetic story, although that's an understatement. I always thought Medusa's story is one of the most unfair, awful fates in the entire mythology. But that reminds me, I'm still very puzzled about the Hades cult as big bad here, seeing what kind of god Hades was. Maybe Alex surprises us with a twist to that yet again, who knows? And honestly, Alex's Einstein is so funny! Quirky, weird mages are always great! XD

Hamid has gone full Liam Neeson and this makes me so very happy. He's evolved so totally in ways I don't think he could ever have imagined and this is perfectly in line with him showing his dragon side. I really feel for Azu here. There is nothing so hurtful to the psyche of an empathic healer as being unable to protect or save a person they love. Knowing the harm may in some way have been caused by your actions makes it worse. I expect we will see some combinations of evolving and devolving of characters as they have to come to terms with and perhaps do some really horrible things in the coming days. But from here, all roads lead to... Rome-ish (?) if they are catching a ride with Einstein.
