Nice joke, but I should have clarified, that as a biomed student I have to do revisions on systems physiology and so have to look at diagrams of the heart, which all have left atria and ventricles on the right side and vice versa.

Oh I understood that, I was just trying (and obviously failing) to be witty.

This is more just checking, is Bertie rolling 1 and 1/2 times his strength bonus for damage, as he is using a 2 handed weapon?

It's not a 2 handed weapon, he wields a bastard sword one handed and also uses a shield.
Technically, this is a rules question, and should go in the sticky "rules questions" thread in the other area. This is for plot based continuity errors, like forgetting Brutor exists.
I am terrible at getting things to stay on topic though, and it really doesn't matter too much.

My bad I forgot that he's facing the viewer. And I forgot which way was left. Doesn't help that I was revising the heart at the time, where left is right side, and right is left side. Wait, who's got a Wooden Heart? I would have 'pegged' Hamid as the Elvis impersonator... Slow, genuine clap. Well played.

Sorry about that, I could never remember if Bertie always had his shield out or not, and that's why I checked. According to the early episodes he will always have he shield out in combat unless he says otherwise. I always thought his shield was on his back, and he was two handing the bastard sword. knowing the last episode, this now just sounds dirty.

Mid episode post: Chewie is from Kashyyyk, not Endor. Despite the Ewoks looking like small and cuddly mini Wookies.

[Bertie Voice]Now listen here young man! Up with this I will not put![/Bertie Voice]

It's interesting that only people who don't know me in real life would think that I would allow an incorrect star wars fact to slip past me uncorrected. The chewbacca defence is a reference to a specific south park episode, but has become something of a meme or signpost for a wider idea. Part of the original presentation of the chewbacca defence is the lawyer claiming that Chewbacca is from Endor - the fact that this is completely incorrect is merely part of the sheer ridiculousness of the chewbacca defence, central to the tactic. Muhahahahaha!

View AttachmentMuhahahahaha! *standing ovation* To be fair I rarely watch TV and haven't watched South Park in about 15 years. I guess ignorance of the lore is no defence though... Well played Alex and Bryn!
