We have a new board games cafe in Southampton (Board in the City, check them out - they do very good work).
A friend of mine lent me her exponential goblin deck for a hand, which was fun for the three turns I was able to take before I was rather forcibly ejected from the game. It looks fun and I'll definitely give it a proper go at some point but I think I'm going to blow a load of money on tyranids instead...

Since it came up today, and a few people from the forums were involved, I figured I would share our EDH house rules;
(1) No tutors (except for basic lands/mana fixing). (2) No mass/repeatable land destruction. (3) No cards that combine with the commander to win without any other play getting a turn. (4) When resolving mulligans replace "scry 1" with "draw until you have 7 cards in hand" (with the obvious exception for leylines).
Happy to provide clarification/discussion on any of these rules if people would be interested.
