Well, I have to say I thought this episode came out brilliantly. It was so amazing to play through as realisation slowly dawned of everything that had happened. It was really emotional, in the best possible way. The only downside is the characters not being able to discuss what they want to do, or what their reactions are, due to the constant presence of the watcher.
I also loved the outtakes from this episode. I laughed so hard at the time, and I cracked up so bad again whilst listening to it last night.

I was not expecting Mr. Ceiling to link back to l'Ordinateurs, I had basically forgotten about Francois Henri in all the excitement of Bertie splitting off from the party, and everyone else's travails underground.
Nicely played Alex.
The gaming group was in top form here too.

I think this is one of my favourite episodes. You can always tell when people are into it because the out of character chatter starts to fall away. Barely a dice roll in sight.

Definitely all the feels for Sasha here. And yet, I suspect she'll come out of this less broken than Hamid or Zolf. A very heavy episode though - going to have to listen to it again soon to make sure I didn't miss anything. The dawning realisations as the conversations played out were beautiful. And I have to admit, part of me was primed for a "I can't let you do that Bertie" from Mr Ceiling

Oh and Sasha's line of "It's a bit more complicated than just eels and sewage" is actually just a fantastic way to sum up the whole damned affair :-)

You can spoiler tag if you want (using [] and spoiler /spoiler) you can't see this unless you choose to but i always figure people won't click on an episode chat thread until they've listened to the episode - there's always gonna be big spoilers in them potentially.

Great episode that's finally shedding some light on things while casting even more massive shadows. I think it finally clicked for me when they were lead back updatirs, it had been so long that I forgot they were essentially still in the same building just waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down underground. Great roleplaying by Hamid and Sasha!

I worry that having Francois Henri around was the only thing keeping Mr Ceiling contained... after what's happened I really worry what Mr Ceiling will do now? will he go into the world trying to "fix" everyone? bringing the dead back to life?
Also I don't think Henri was a good guy and he deserved what happened. but I think Zolf should have taken over, isn't he still in need of a sacrifice to Poseidon?

I was thinking that! But then I figured Bertie is the charge in and kill people type, whereas Zolf is more the drown the guilty type. Francois Henri was obviously Not A Very Nice Person if he was the one working on Mr Ceiling's... memory banks [*shudders*] but given Henri's now diminished mental capacity I think Zolf might have had trouble reconciling that for a sacrifice.
I hope Zolf would have had trouble reconciling that sort of thing.
And of course there's a difference between 'nice' and 'good', although transforming people's brains into a giant creepy computer thing is taking the term memory bank to extremes. Although to be honest, might have been creepier if it was entire bodies. Like in the Matrix. 'Cos brain in a tank, that gives me memories of Krang in shredder. Bodies in a tank gives me flooded labs in Resident Evil imagery.
But that's just me.
Probably.
