also what did Oscar mean when he said he is the Teams minder? I must have missed that bit. We were originally hired by agents of the meritocrats to find out as much as we could about the notebook and the provenance of the simulacrum. It transpired (I think Bertie discovered it when he was 'summoned' back to Paris) that Wilde is actually a meritocratic agent, and essentially our "handler". Since we form an autonomous deniable asset.

Grrr, Zolf made me so angry this episode with his whole 'bad things have happened to me and I suppressed my emotional pain rather than deal with it so now no one else is allowed to talk about their traumatic experiences because they can't possibly be as bad as mine' attitude. Kudos to Ben for making such a likeable characters with flaws. Also loved the bit where Hamid points out they haven't told Wilde about the dead meritocrat and the party argue about how to deal with it (not realising that Bertie has already blurted it out).
I'm pretty sure there is going to be more Brock plot. Looking forward to it 😀

I loved Sasha this episode so much. Her trying to rationalise to Bertie to not go after the legs felt suitable, but her going after Brock's ghost was just heart breaking. I really wanted her to keep going and see where it took her, but I hope this is some decent closure for her, at least. I don't actually know what the thing was with Brock: was it just a childhood friend that she lost touch with? I think Brock is Sasha's cousin.
