We rejoin our stalwart adventurers back in Mr Ceiling's lair under the streets of Paris as they try (admittedly not very hard) to make sense of what has just gone on and discover that power comes in different forms.
Nice callback to the lightning elemental in the Channel Tunnel from Bertie there as well as another look at his psyche... and all the while there's a lot going unsaid from all quarters methinks. Also really interesting to see Zolf try to resume a leadership role and how that plays out.
So, we seem to be heading to some sort of conclusion - anyone want to hazard a guess as to where we'll end up?

I had completely forgotten this episode existed. I remembered everything in the previous one, and everything in the next one (I think) but I had forgotten the big elemental fight until I heard the start of this episode again.

So what you're saying is our campaign is super memorable? Ha! Well, I remember everything else.

This was a pretty great episode. I loved the fire elemental and its interaction with Hamid. I shouldn't really have favourites but Hamid is pretty great. He's doing his best and also maybe something something dragons (?) which is pretty traumatic. I also loved the snippet of his backstory we got here. One of my favourite things about this podcast is that backstory is revealed pretty organically. It never feels like an exposition dump.(Although I am used to larp where you meet someone's eyes across a crowded tavern and you just know you'll be sitting there with your totally-not-alcohol listening to how demons ate their wife or whatever). I wasn't really sure what to expect when listening to someone else playing a tabletop but genuinely feeling for the characters wasn't really in my mind. That changed pretty quick.
Sasha continues to delight with her absolute devotion to bombing everything, and the interactions between her and Zolf continue to be delightful in how absolutely awkward they are.
Bertie gently closing the door behind him made me laugh out loud.
