Well, today's #Magnus collides the worlds of epidemiology and entomology rather creepily. And again it all comes down to blood. And making my skin crawl. As someone who is a veritable mosquito magnet, you can imagine this was rather visceral episode for me Good to see the Archives can continue to throw up 'general' cases with the same aplomb and creepiness as before, though it was good to see the link through to Salesa as well. And that supplemental! Time to start unspooling some string in Tim's direction, perhaps?

I'm thinking Salesa needs a wiki article. Do we have a definitive spelling? Miguel Salesa? Mikkel? Michael?

i enjoyed this one. Although it wasn't dripping with the overarching storyline line I feel the last one was, it was a really interesting Freak of the Week episode, and raised many questions.
Also, human-skinned blood sacks? Ew?

Urk, egg on my face - Mikaele Salesa was mistakenly written in the Timeline as Paul Noriega for the events of MAG 38. Are you bringing up my mistakes deliberately this season, Jonny? ;P

As a adjunct to this ep, I'd like to thank cannonlongshot for coining the term 'Magniverse' to delineate our leg of the trousers

I would like to thank the scheduling for releasing this episode at the beginning of mosquito season in the Southern Hemisphere.
I'm also severely allergic to mosquito bites.
I would contribute, but I'm crouched in the corner of my room with a can of insect repellent.

It's fine, just buy some incredibly expensive, supernaturally augmented medical equipment. Simple.

Things are tickling the edges of my brain: the apartment meat man, the meatpacking plant, the hive mind, Jane Prentiss...
I'm with Lovecraft: The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents.

The apartment meat man and the meatpacking plant I'm pretty sure are linked in some way. I haven't brought it up because there's no evidence... yet.

Listening to this episode in summer in Australia was... an experience.

Wiki page is done. I'm still confused as to why the mosquitos went so crazy. It seems like it's something to do with getting rid of the syringe, or maybe Salesa getting involved? I just feel like getting rid of the syringe would cause them to go crazy. Unless they were already crazy and the syringe was stopping them being all gross and infecty? I dunno, it almost feels like these two events are unrelated...
