Join us this week for a new episode of "Who's the Boss?"! On a personal note, this episode had me in stitches - and Bertie's retort about Debrett's was nigh-on perfect So, amidst the laughter, we see tempers snap like frayed rigging as Bertie's antics finally drive Zolf to give him his marching orders from the Rangers, leaving Hamid and Sasha in unenviable positions. And our 'favourite' lawyers show up again with an unexpected gift, though I daresay we'll find out that this sword may be more than double-edged... Again, beautiful character work all round - and goes to show that this really is a party of real people (conceit notwithstanding), who weren't friends before, driven by circumstance along the edge of desperation. And actually brings us to an important part of many gaming experiences - when in-party conflict threatens to split the group, how do you deal with it in a constructive manner? P.S. For a handy link to the survey: CLICK HEREIf you can spare a few moments to fill this in, it would help us immensely and we'd be very grateful!

Hamid trying to keep Bertie alive is a beautiful thing.

The Zolf/Bertie showdown had me on the verge of howling at work, especially the title discussion.

An intense episode! I was all ready to agree with Zolf that it was past time for Bertie to go his separate way, preferably far, FAR away... But then the magical sword was unveiled, and I got reeled into caring about Bertie's drama again. And poor, loyal, wishy-washy Hamid. Probably the most enjoyable part of the episode for me was how much Sasha enjoyed it (I did the survey, now you know all of my secrets!)

Great episode! I really enjoyed all the interactions. I can't wait to see how the magic sword plays out.
Poor Harrison Campbell. Traumatised for life.

Poor Harrison Campbell. Traumatised for life. Out of great adversity, comes great literature. Bertie can be his shining muse

I am definitely intrigued by that magical sword-- seems like a lot of the McGuffinghams were of a similar type as Bertie, and the sword is there to help force them into acting against their natural (murdery) inclinations. Makes me wonder how they even ended up entangled with this generations-long magical contract in the first place.
