So we reached our inspired, beautiful and ridiculous conclusion. We had so much fun recording this episode, we hope you guys enjoyed it too.
There's just so much in this episode I'm not even sure what to talk about, which bits did you guys like best?
I thought the dual character of Locke and her gun snappy were just inspired.

Well I will not be editing anything this complex again for a VERY long time. It nearly killed me.

Yeah it was pretty complicated. Can't believe so much happened in just two episodes. Loved Snappy's obsession with destruction.

I really enjoyed the change of pace - Storyjam sounds like something that I really want to try now! I loved how the choices (and hilarious choices at that) all came together so well. Alex talking about delicious tumours as a renewable food source for the cannibals just broke me, as often is the case with the podcast, I was in 'stitches!' One of my friends hasn't been keen but I think it's mostly from the break in the campaign (and he's not a fan of post-apocalyptic worlds) so I think it's a personal taste thing more than anything else, these two episodes felt a lot faster and it seemed like you guys were genuinely having a lot fun I'm probably going to re-listen to them again over the weekend!

Ultimately you can't please everyone and your friend who prefers the main narrative will be glad to hear we will be returning to business as usual from tommorrow. We just thought we'd shake things up a bit. Also miss Nash that bonus metacast about starting a campaign you were asking about airs Thursday. I will be out of the country so will not be around to find out how it goes down but I hope its what you were after.

Yeah, but it's still a good episode! I told my friend (in the words of Felicia Day) to stop being such a poopy pants! Super excited about tomorrow AND the meta cast! ;D amazing! I've been feeling poorly all day but that news has cheered me right up! x

Thoroughly enjoyed the Storyjam session - defnitely an interesting and worthwhile diversion. I've heard Ed talk about it before but never got round to actually checking it out.
I can see hallmarks of Fiasco-like storytelling and narrative construction in this. And the ongoing escalation of scenes was defnitely a strong point.
Post-apocalyptic isn't my favourite setting but what it lacked in coherence, it made up for with strong actions and a lot of spirit! I really liked the tie-in at the end to the old silo and the reason for the 'steam vents' - I find that many games of this type can easily lose the background info in a 'race to the finish' or attempts to out-madcap each other.

I can assure you nothing was planned. We paid no more attention to those vents at first than the hub town inhabitants.

It's the improv training kicking in. Reincorporate and call back whenever you can.

But leave an appropriate amount of time first, otherwise it is repetitive and dull.

A few months late responding to this one, but the genre of nuclear farce was suggested. I would like to recommend the film The Bed Sitting Room, which is quite literally a nuclear farce. British film from the late 60s/early 70s and IMO is one of the best films ever made. Imagine Monty Python set in post-nuclear fallout London.
N.B- I am the same coil that has begun posting in the last few weeks, but working from a different computer and bad at remembering password
