OR: "Brain Soup"Ah, university life! And at a magical university, just think of the hijinks. There's never a dull moment - hilarious japes as corridors are completely blocked by sudden dirt, the sight of a goblin trying to smash a leaking orb in the courtyard, the remaining faculty on the run for seditious acts, the ordered chaos as a fanatical cult put the place on lockdown because of the said acts of said former faculty... Halcyon days indeed A whirlwind of an episode, not least as we're battered by a hurricane of puns throughout - nice to see that the comedic swag continues even as James has departed. And questions are raised over forgotten items as Sasha's "collecting" habit reveals a chance to re-open certain philosophical debates. Would Mr Ceiling fare better with the tenets of Artemis over those of Poseidon/Zolf? And kudos to the soundscaping - the combination of metal being struck and leaking cerebrospinal fluid is both amazing and I hope I never have to hear it again. And when someone who's 'on the run' turns out to be more 'on the beach'... well, its just a day in the life of LOLOMG isn't it? And anyone else thinking that Einstein was starting to sound a lot like Mr Crow?

Just tying off all the loose ends ready for our season finale next week. Hopefully that was the final vestige of Mr Ceiling.

And anyone else thinking that Einstein was starting to sound a lot like Mr Crow? Honestly, with all the puns at the start I was expecting someone to sing-song "I've got a jar (bag) of dirt", but the Damocles-sword of +1 psychic damage might have stopped our heroes in time. 8P Hehe, it was indeed good soundscaping. As usual. I have to admit, it was nice hearing a bit of Mr. Ceiling again, I liked the Skynet wannabe AI a lot. The orb could've turned out to become a fun little gadget like the Dis-Organizer from Discworld. "Hello, insert-name-here, why is rearranging memories considered bad?" Well, Grizzop's stubborn smashing took care of that possibility. XD With the whole beach-thing Einstein reminded me more of Hojo's vacation time in FF VII, needed more screechy, high voice, though. Pity for Hamid that we didn't get to hear Liliana being confronted with the repercussions of her studies, but her steadfastly ignoring her detention was hilarious. So many people who could use an arrow to the knee from Grizzop. XD

So many people who could use an arrow to the knee from Grizzop. XD And Rusty Quill Gaming catches up with a meme that's now several years past its prime #RQLyfe

That sound effect was... unpleasant. Also, did we explain how Grizzop immediately recognizes the smell of brains specifically? I've never really thought about whether different organs had a different smell. (I guess they would when cooked, probably? This train of thought is going weird places; I'm disembarking.)
Aww, poor Mr. Ceiling. Still no one cares enough to teach it moral lessons, instead resorting to senseless violence. ;_; It just had a very negligent upbringing, without love! It's misunderstood! ... and was made out of unethically sourced brains. And was planning on taking over the world. But, you know. These things happen.
/ terrible Mr. Ceiling apologist

Of all the NPCs Alex has portrayed on this podcast, his Einstein is my favorite.
Every episode, I just love Grizzop more. I'm fond of how practical he is. Also, I could see such a clear (and adorable) image of him sitting there with the orb in his lap, stabbing away at it. No need to be overly clever when brute force will get you there in an acceptable amount of time.

Grizzop is very pragmatic in his ways, what I really love about him. Also his arrow in the knee approach is hilarious and pragmatic. Who needs discussions about wether to do something or not, if you can just get the resulat by doing something. Brute can be the way to solve a problem, as Grizzop shows.
