OR: "Spring Cleaning"
After a long absence, we're back with more gaming "advice" as the crew talk about change in campaigns and how to handle it when your players have pesky things like "lives" and "changing character narratives". How do you bring in new players? How do you change a character that is no longer working out? How DO you solve a problem like Bertie? (Answer: with necromancy and a pink paladin, it turns out) Some really good chat here about handling narratives and character connections when folk come in and out, not always through character death. Does this sound familiar from your games? Are there any other tips you all would like to share on dealing with the issues brought up here?

My only complaint, that I have about every episode in both podcasts, is that they're too shooort! I enjoy listening to everything so much! It's interesting that first Ben and now Helen were so new to your group, you all play so well together that it sounded like you all knew each other for ages. And it's very interesting to hear more about the reasons behind some decisions. Also, the jokes where TMA and RQG come together increase lately, which is hilarious, but makes me long for an actual crossover where TMA characters play an RPG.

A really interesting episode. I've seen PCs become NPCs because the player left, but the idea of handing them over to the psychopath GM while still in the room to find out what fate befalls them fills me with a little dread. Excited for season 3!

The episode made me really hopeful for the group to meet Zolf again, who I really liked.

Trust me, that's NOT an issue with next week's #RQGaming episode! Do you mean it'll be no fun or that it'll be longer? Can't see the former happening, hehe. And in case of the latter - My dear sir, you grossly underestimate the joy I get from listening! It doesn't matter how long the episodes are, they will always be too short! ♥ XD

It doesn't matter how long the episodes are, they will always be too short! ♥ XD My feelings exactly. Listening to RQG makes me so happy. The end of each episode always comes with a touch of sadness, like finishing the last bite of a delicious burrito.
