[Brian Blessed Voice]BRUTOR'S ALIVE!![/Brian Blessed Voice]
I guess some other stuff happened this episode, but it doesn't seem very important in comparison.

Loads of stuff happened! It was brilliant!
SIR BertRAND and his rather impassioned plea to caution and subsequent almost over compensation.
Zolf and his sheer exasperation with everything and everyone (I think he's lashing out due to not drowning anyone, much like an addict going cold turkey who hasn't drowned anyone lately)
Hamid stepping all over Zolf when he's off his game. Plucky little devil that he is.
Sasha not really doing anything flashy but still laying down some sick Other London beats for the rest of the party to jam to, and doing the whole stepping out of stage fog Stars In Their Eyes style. "Tonight Matthew, I'm going to be..."
This episode was filled with tension and suspense, with moments of absolute genius.

As a person who has generally played soldier like characters, I feel zolf's pain about characters just not listening, charging into battle, and attempting to be better than him. However the party did a great job this episode, and I now have to find out what skill morse code would be.

I know a few other systems where the equivalent skill is used for codes and code-breaking as well, though I don't remember ever seeing an official rule for DnD or pathfinder.

Just in terms of real world development of Morse Code, with its own slang, grammar and syntax, and the somewhat in-jokey culture of proficient users it is an almost distinct language in its own right. So yeah, linguistics.

Yeah, I would have guessed linguistics, but I couldn't find anything mentioned about code wording. I did find out that linguistics is mentioned for detecting forgeries and coded messages, so I would guess that linguistics is involved some how.

Great character interplay in this episode. I can defnitely sympathise with Zolf - trying to lead two characters who come from privilege does appear to be throwing up some problems that 'friendship' has yet to iron out. I wonder, though, if Sasha is feeling somewhat awkward, being in the middle of this?

I wonder, though, if Sasha is feeling somewhat awkward, being in the middle of this? The only time Hamid has disagreed with Zolf, it has been about "doing the right thing". Not sure that is so much a character with privilege issue, as a character played by me issue. How many games have we played together where my character has had the same problem? I need to try and diversify my range.
