I still think the Chessington pun might be the funniest thing that has happened in the show so far. I think it's clear that James is winning the joke war. Any other favourite jokes or funniest moments so far?

Not sure who said it but in the first metacast, Bryn said something like "I don't see the need to avoid stereotypes, they can be very useful" to which someone replied "yeah, for bigots" which made me genuinely laugh out loud.

As always, it was James. He is just funnier than the rest of us. :-)

I laugh more when I'm listening to the episodes later than when the jokes happen. I cracked up hard at that one, but I don't remember doing so very much during the recording. I might be remembering wrong though, I laugh a bunch during the recording too.

"It's not a warehouse, it's more like a warebungalow" Followed by Alex describing it as a man who turns into a building at full moon (were-bungalow). I think Alex was embarrassed at the pun and tried to back out of it in the middle but was still good.

I have to admit its pretty difficult trying to fit in the odd one-liner and still keep things moving. Secretly I am an incorrigible show off and I keep James around to stay humble.
I would say though that my favorite joke is actually Bryn's (in character) but in an episode that no one except me has heard yet.
Bryn is right though, sometimes you miss stuff in conversation at the time especially when I am GMing and also monitoring all the audio equipment and trying not to say "errrr "(I always fail).

I have no idea what joke you are talking about. Hopefully it was intentional. I look forward to being reminded of it when I get to hear that episode too. :-)

I can't think of a favourite off the top of my head, but it's certainly not for the lack of candidates. That said, nothing leads to better humour than a nat 1

Having recently relistened to Episode 1, James' response to Ben about storing your armour in an armoire is a beautiful pun. And of course the Chessington crack is the one that's made me laugh the loudest.
It's probably unsurprising that James is going to get the bulk of the in-character jokes/punning because he's the one playing the significantly larger-than-life, more 'stereotype' character in a campaign that isn't ostensibly a comic/comedy caper (yes, there are humorous elements but it's primarily a serious adventure). Being in it for the long-haul, as it were, kinda obviates everyone being the 'joker'.

Won't give specifics yet since the episode is new, but this episode is definitely one of the funniest yet

I've changed the title of this thread, so people who have only listened to the first couple of episodes don't come along and accidentally spoiler themselves. We're probably slightly safer to post our favourite jokes in episode specific threads thought - as that way we won't risk spoilers.
