It's time for the in-flight entertainment! Who's up for a bracing game of all weather hide-and-seek? Or maybe the cut and thrust of literary debate? Once again, Sasha proves to be the calm voice and level head of understanding as Bertie and Zolf find themselves at distinct odds over their assessments of Harrison Cambell's talents. And we see just how... determined Zolf can be when pushed to the edge by provocation. And this journey was supposed to be relaxing...

Well timed break in this episode, as Lydia was not the only person trying not to cry with laughter at that point. My fellow commuters think I'm mad enough as it is.

I like to think of this episode, not as a warning about the drama players will construct if you leave them to their own devices, but as an object lesson in how important Hamid is to the party dynamic. I leave the rest of the party alone for a single day, to do some reading, and it all goes horribly wrong.

I was just surprised that it was Hamid who decided to be the personification of the patriarchal literary hegemony. Normally Bertie gets to represent The Man in every facet of life.

Hamid is a snob, that's never been in question.
