Another episode about meat... one might almost think the Institute has a hidden agenda to convert us to vegetarianism Glad I waited until after the ep to have breakfast. Some interesting recurring motifs here - piles of meat, sudden silence and disappearance of all but key figures, wandering a twisted environment. Whether these are linked or coincidental, I guess we'll have to wait to see what else emerges from the Archives... On a separate note, recording for Season 1 is drawing to a close, so if you have any questions you'd like to pose to Jonny, please let us know in this thread: rustyquill.proboards.com/thread/158/answers

Ew. As a vegetarian, just ew. Funnily enough seeing how slaughter houses work in the US is what turned me off meat in the first place. If you're interested, I watched Vegucated, which is definitely veggie propaganda, but still was enough to turn me off meat. It's on Netflix, if you're interested. It's pretty frustrating that I don't have any time to do anything with the wiki at the moment. I need to write up this ep and the last and write up a linking page about meat and make the timeline and write up a few more tenuous links and... Anyway, great episode, thoroughly enjoyed it!

Brilliant episode! Sorry, have I missed something? Which was the other meat episode?

Brilliant episode! Sorry, have I missed something? Which was the other meat episode? The Man Upstairs, the one with the meat hammered into the walls and the meat monster with all the eyes right at the end.

Pretty sure you have more important things on your to do list right now.

Right, that was what came to mind, but I wondered I wondered if abattoirs had now become a theme of some sort and I'd missed an episode (UNTHINKABLE!) Also, wasn't it you that's currently arranging their wedding? If so, you so definitely don't need to be worrying about the wiki right now!

Yeah, I'm the guy who's getting married on Tuesday! Yeah, I think that's a good excuse! It's okay, when I get back I will make the wiki great again. Then I'll become so sure of it's superiority I'll call for a vote on if we should branch out and become our own independent site, independent of the tyranny of Johnathan Sims and his cases, then 100% of the people voting (i.e., me) will vote Wixit, and we'll branch out on our own.
Then we'll realise that we don't really work without The Magnus Archives and we'll come crawling back, but Sims will be so displeased that we have to get in a huge queue to get back into his good graces.
Or something.

It's because if you ever wrote an episode with Trump in I would tell you to reign it in. something that extreme is "a bit much" for a podcast full of nightmare fuel.

Interesting stuff! Of course, I was late to the party and marathoned episodes 1-28 in a week, so whenever an episode doesn't have as strong a callback as in MAG 28: Skintight I feel a little let down XD
I can't imagine how the lot of you put up with the suspense for so long! That's what I love about this show, though - you have no idea if Charles Han will be the next Jane Prentiss.

I'm now seriously considering wether I would rather live in the Magnus Archives universe and take my chances with Jane Prentis... I definitely think I would trade my flesh hive free existence for a world where brexit didn't happen...
