Hello everyone! I've only discovered the Magnus Archives podcast like...a week ago and been binging it ^^ And through that I found the gaming podcast, which I also enjoy very much. I am not a native english speaker and I hated it in school so don't be confused by bad grammar, spelling, overall strange expressions. I am sorry in advance. I'm currently writing my master thesis (about Pen & Paper RPGs) and will hopefully get some distraction in this forum...

Hi! A friend recommended the Magnus Archives to me a while back, and from there I started on Rusty Quill, and I'm now utterly hooked on both. I've just finished re-listening to both and am now at the point of worrying slightly about withdrawal symptoms between episodes! Another consequence has been my wanting to get back into tabletop playing myself, and I'm looking forward to seeing what goes on here in the forums. :-)

Hi y'all!
I was avoiding the forums until I got caught up on Magnus and RQG, whew, what a ride! I'm Myshe, I live in Texas, and I tell game devs everything they're doing wrong for a living. It's been two years since my last regular tabletop game, so lately I've taken to poring through the 5th ed. DM Guide and weeping.

Hello world...or slightly less populated world than the world...or maybe even much less populated segment of the world world... Now I'm confused.
I am Caleb, I often Role Play as Reyr Lucav. He has changed a lot over the years and I haven't gotten him into a Pathfinder yet, but I created him about 10 years ago in a DnD campaign.
Anyway, none of that was actually the point. Hi, is my point. I just started Rusty Quill podcast about two weeks ago and I listen on my commutes to and from work, or while playing Skyrim, or doing laundry...and sometimes in the shower... and now you know too much about me. I'm only up to episode 41 and listening as fast as I can to catch up to real time...or prerecorded time laid out in set increments that have been predetermined...or haphazardly chosen. (I'm still not convinced which is true.)
Well, feel free to ask questions or suggest ways for me to get involved with the forum more. I am loving the series and feel very close to the characters and their creators. I can be seen laughing in the streets with an AirPod in one ear, I don't wear the other so that I can still hear the traffic and try not to die...my acrobatics skills, while high, are no where near Sasha's.
- Reyr

Hi from Canada everyone. I just recently came across the Magnus after seeing quite a few recommendations. Can't believe I never got to it first! I'm still going through season 3 like a madman to catch up but I'm hooked!!
From what I see the community is pretty cool too; I've seen too many similar podcasts with REALLY toxic subreddits so I'm happy here seems to be nice and civil. Speaking of which, is Reddit similar or is it like... uh... well, the rest of Reddit?
Anyway, nice to meet you all. Happy new year!
MrDenis

Welcome mrdenis! What part of Canada do you hail from? And no, r/themagnusarchives and r/rustyquill are both very pleasant subreddits - not the typical reddit garbage fire.

Hi...and please help!
Full disclosure. I'm American. so you know. This may all be entirely my fault.
Have been trying to Register for the forum off & on for the past month (thought perhaps down for maintenance or giving BSR/BSN a nice holiday break from moderating) alas have continuously gotten a "Registration is disabled on this forum" error.
Has everything moved over to the sub reddit?
Again. Totally prepared for this all being my fault. I'm ssssavoring TMA like a left-bank Bordeaux & blasting through RQG with an alacrity, while sniffing around Stella Firma but afraid my poor heart will actually break if David 7 doesn't get some damn respect - so maybe in my serious commitment to avoid spoilers I've missed a message somewhere.
You are wonderful people & I'm so glad for your creative makings.
Cheers, Corey the Chibisaurus chibisaurus@gmail.com
