You live in a county that hates humans and wants them all dead. Shudders. He Worst I have to fear is an angry badger. Its usually Australia thats classed as everything trying to kill you, but New Zealand has a bit of bite to it too - sandflies are the worst!!

we have a pretty nasty spider in New Zealand called the white tail. Can't spin webs, eats other spiders and can cause nasty side effects if they bite you as they pick up so much bacteria - its like a lottery. I've removed about three from my room here - the first was on the ceiling and I didn't like how it was moving and it pretty much almost climbed out the beer glass i'd trapped it in. The only other one that i've seen that was pretty gross was in the garden when my housemate and I were clearing leaves. Not identified it as yet but it had a fat round body and was pretty big. My housemate and I just looked at each other and decided we were not going to continue gardening that day hehe

I love the Lovecraftian feel of this episode, though I too was exclaiming that Brazil speaks Portugese and not Spanish, though that would explain her difficulty in finding work!
She was actually very very lucky she didn't mention her last ship had had bad luck, she would have been considered a Jonah and might have been picked over Sean Kelly as Jonahs were supposed to be dispatched pretty darn quick!

LA's a great place for cons, too, wink-wink. Who wants to cosplay as the Jane Prentiss to my Horrifying Parasitic Worm? I can't stop giggling at the innuendo...

I work in film post production so have access to the software and a certain amount of knowledge. I'm not an animator though!!! I know I'm on the other side of the world, but am happy to volunteer my services if you ever need them

A map - tinyurl.com/hnwq6book, so when i was a student I used to live in Glasgow in the City Center in an old converted warehouse on Bell street. (You can see it on the map running parallel to Parsonage square, I lived at the end furthest from High street). I was used to walking home from the student union and it was pretty safe. My usual route home from the union was down to Ingram Street, along as far as the Ramshorn Church, across the car park opposite to Blackfriars Street and then through there to High Street. One night when I was walking back at 1am i think, not actually drunk, maybe a couple of beers, but alone and the streets were quiet, literally no-one anywhere and no cars. I got to the car park, which has a low black rail fence that is easy to step over and... you couldn't have paid me a million bucks to go across. There was something there in the car park, that I couldn't see, but was watching me. I know it was watching me because as I walked round the car park I could feel it. It was at the back in the middle, next to the wall where there wasn't a car and I knew that if i stepped over the rail and crossed something really bad was going to happen to me. It watched me the whole time i went around and it must have moved, because I could feel its eyes on my back as I walked down Blackfriars Street right until i turned onto High Street and i felt the change in being out of sight. Needless to say I didn't turn round at that point, just hurried. The only thing I could think it was was demon. It wasn't a ghost, it was far too powerfully bad for that. I think they like to find people alone, a little alcohol in them, familiar enough with surroundings to override gut instinct...

I'd totally go for a Magnus Archive branded mug and stationary - folders, pens, pencils.
Notebooks with 'the bone turners tale' on the spine and some suitably chilling woodcut on the front so i can record all my spooky goings on ...

I'm a big fan of the 'Silent Hill' universe. Not sure I'd want to live there, but having played a couple of hye games i like to think I'd survive it!

Well the first two episodes unsettled me as I lived in Edinburgh and have walked down that street before and then I lived in Bournemouth and then London so I feel very .... connected ... to the archive. Might have to buy you guys a coffee next May when I'm visiting family in the UK

Hi from New Zealand! Have been binge-listening to the Magnus Archive over the last 2 days while at work. I've still got 10 episodes to go before I'm caught up when I might have to rewind and start over...
