" an incredibly detailed painting, with intricate patterns and symmetry " (from the wiki)
are we talking fractal detail and intricacy here....

i guess in the end it depends how Jonny feels about people 'tampering' with the archive while he's writing it... Nonsense. I'm generally very in favour of fan fiction as a thing, but even if I wasn't... I'm the creator - that means I get zero say over it, which is exactly how it should be. Make or don't make fanfic as you please. All I ask is that you completely disregard me when doing so. no worries - i wasn't using any of the MA characters - mine is more focused on my obsession with a certain someone's books

That sounds terrifying - as someone who has has sleep paralysis on numerous occasions I know how traumatising dreams can be

The next step from this is fanfiction. Currently the fandom doesn't seem to have the right demographic for that (?) but I'm guessing it'll be showing up in next year's Yuletide... because I'm not writing any right now... really I'm not *whistles and looks innocent*

At this point, sound editors are a key priority. ohh... that would be tricky from the other side of the world too :/

ohh listened to all of them! I liked Limetown but was sad it was so short. Sad because it didn't finish or sad because it was really good and would have been good to hear more of? I basically need more podcasts to listen to whilst I'm commuting, but I don't really like committing to anything that gets stopped half way through. it was really good and I wanted to hear and know more! I too try for podcasts that are not going to suddenly stop, i don't mind cliffhangers as long as they get resolved! My other addiction was 'sword and scale' which is a true crime one. Very harrowing on many occasions, but the format is really good and it doesn't look like its stopping anytime soon (crime never does eh) I like it because it often speaks to people who are part of the investigations that don't normally get to have a voice on a true crime podcast - paramedics, the ME, public defence lawyers, psychiatrists. He does some historical ones as well like HH Holmes, Jonestown as well as modern ones.

Nope. Jonny writes all of them. Then me and Mike split the edits between us. When we say our company is small and needs all the help it can get, we aren't kidding. what help do you need?

ohh listened to all of them! I liked Limetown but was sad it was so short. I listen to Tanis as well, but its season just finished too >_< piratehistorypodcast.com/ is pretty awesome sorry, way off topic - i listen to podcast 10 hours a day so it has to be good - which is why Magnus archive will get a binge re-listening!

well, first off.. thank you for an amazing season 1. I'm so thrilled with having discovered this podcast and everyone does such amazing work on writing and voice acting. I think we all really care about the characters very much!! I'm not going to add a huge amount, but I did wonder at one thing when Jonathan was interviewing Not-Sasha. (I'll try and express it clearly) Jonathan sounded more vague and spaced out when he was interviewing NOT-Sasha. Is it possible the fractals exert a tape of camouflage that prevents people from noticing the they NOT-people. The fractals themselves seem quite hypnotic... Whatever it is clearly gets into the brain and uses all the memories or else they couldn't blend in at all and that it took the tapes to cover its tracks means it has access all areas. Is Sasha even left at all - might be quiet horrific if she is trapped watching whats going on but powerless to influence anything. Between now and 1st December i will have to wonder whats on all the tapes that were with Gertrude and who shot her. Who can we trust?

I'm wondering if each of the fractals has a different effect and how many others are out there.. Do they work in conjunction with each other... like if you put the vase on the table... i was delighted to find an MA podcast this morning and even happier with the content... but that ending.... gah!! Combining dangerous artifacts seems a bit more like an SCP Foundation trick than a Magnus Institute thing - our MA friends seem a bit more genre savvy than that. Hopefully. lol.. i wasn't meaning they should try it!!
