Plus it's a decent description, I think, for what the Archivist is doing. yeah. he's crossing over to investigating for himself rather than the archive. I SO want to hear what are on the tapes and what they will reveal.

Just watched Residue - a netflix series that starts with a mysterious explosion in the middle of a city some years into the future. It's excellent and creepy. will have to give that a try...

My nfolks live up near Milton Keynes, but I'll be in London a lot as i worked there for ages and have other peeps top catch up with too! I'll even be in Scotland briefly if anyone is from up that end! SCOTLAND! my neck of the woods!
happily show you round if you like, perhaps in Edinburgh? I seem to know a creepy Close where anglerfish like to reside!
Also if you want a ghost tour I can highly recommend the Double Dead Tour run by City of the Dead Tours in Edinburgh, recently did it with my partner and it was fantastic, a good mix of actual history and a little horror.
yay - it would be good to meet up for a coffee and explore some of the angler fish locations! I've done the Mary Kings Close a few times - i love that one. I'll let you know once my plans are finalised as I have to take in friends in Aberdeen and Glasgow as well. (I think my folks are starting to think i'm not there to visit them!)

ahhh the wait is over!!!! And what a superb episode it is as well!
Having done 'Mary Kings Close' in Edinburgh which is under a council building, I can understand seeing things out the corner of one's eyes. it IS very disconcerting and I don't think his paranoia is unfounded. The tunnels are intriguing... Perhaps the cleaning crew couldn't see that section of the tunnel where the worm husks were seeing as it could change its walls.
One thought lingers from the statement...Are we the new archivist and dear God what could have happened when Jonathan Sims is such a meticulous Archivist so dedicated to the truth.
I think we have a whole new set of questions and no answers yet. I will try to be patient.

I second 'Alice isn't dead' - Jasika Nicole is excellent in this, the perfect voice.

I agree. Magnus Archive has definitely been one of the best things to happen this year.

I'll even be in Scotland briefly if anyone is from up that end!

Apparantly i like to take lots of pics of cheerful things like flower macros and sunsets and wide open fields.. however... Edinburgh alleyway woods at Roslyn Chapel I'm sure i have spooky ones. I was in a Vampire Society *shakes head* I'll keep looking!

I voted - if you are stuck for any other options
The Bright Sessions, we're Alive, Ars Paradoxica, Welcome to night vale, Return Home, No sleep are all good ones to vote for.
Its certainly given me some ideas on what to listen to when experiencing Magnus withdrawal symptoms (they are but mere sticking plasters for a gaping wound of course...)
